Fragile MemoriesA Poem by Melissa Kesead
Fragile Memories Those memories of times long past tear at my mind looking for recognition but I have tried to forget
the fragile memories that make me cry that make me feel I surely must die the fragile memories that ache in my heart that make me feel I can never start to love another
Those loving glimpses of laughter in your eyes the bite of a sharp word from your tongue always makes me regret
Those moments of tenderness and warmth leave me on the brink of tears but I have tried to forget
the fragile memories that make me cry that make me feel I surely must die the fragile memories that ache in my heart that make me feel I can never start to love another
the fragile memories that say goodbye that never give a reason why the fragile memories that leave me weak that make it hard to look or speak to any other © 2009 Melissa Kesead |
