Desire

Desire

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

Debauchery awaits

its fingers curled

around our naked limbs, restless

Temptation lingers

on the air, heavy

like a thick fog sweetened with desire

Lust overwhelms

pushing the last vestiges

of innocence over the edge, smiling
