Ocean Pulse

Ocean Pulse

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

The snap of the sail

like a crisp linen sheet

colored the silence

Waves breaking

on the beach

sing out a lullabye

Palm trees dance

in an island breeze

a silent serenade

Moonlight glimmers

like diamonds on

a sea of dreams

"The snap of the sail like a crisp linen sheet" that line pops and set the theme for the whole poem. Its really a delight for the senses. Wonderful.
