Lovers Embrace

Lovers Embrace

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

Slow and sensuous

their bodies ebbed and flowed

like the tide coming in

With moans and sighs

they held tightly to

their dreams and each other

Rhythm replaced rhyme

and reason as their lovemaking

came to a climax

Passion spent, they

lingered in a lovers embrace

satiated and satisfied
