I rememberA Poem by Melissa KeseadI remember your face I remember your laughter I remember we used to be happy ever after
I remember your clothes I remember your hair I remember the way you used to sit and stare
I remember your smile the way we used to kiss Playing catch you used to laugh when I would miss
I remember tears running down your cheek and coming home late at night into the house we'd sneak
I remember you touch your fingers through my hair the way we used to talk when we'd walk in the spring air
I remember when you left I remember it so well and sometimes every now and then on your face I dwell © 2009 Melissa Kesead |
