I cry for him

I cry for him

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

I watch him stand

a face in the crowd

and I cry for him

He's known to no one

loved by no one

utterly alone

I see his eyes

they're full of tears

cloudy and dim

His body shivers

from the cold

skin and bones

The street's his home

a child alone

I cry for him

A beautiful and sad poem . It strikes at the
soul of mankind.

Each of us is perhaps only steps away from the
condition of which you write. It makes us stop
and think----what if ?

This is perhaps the story of a child, observed, which
makes it even more pitiful.

I think you are a gifted writer. You have touched each
of your readers in a special way, in that tender place.

I will be reading more of you soon.

How often do people see this and just walk by pretending not to see. It is the funny thing about America we are truly blind to the sadness around us. very heartfelt write.
