Thoughts screaming

consciousness streaming

fevered dreaming

never silent

 

Feelings thunder

over and under

emotions blunder

always frenzied

 

Senses reeling

hurt but healing

layers peeling

constantly raw

 

Sounds abate

hearts hesitate

love won't wait

forever yearning
