You mean home to me

You mean home to me

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

Unbelievable emotion

crashes over me

like waves in the ocean

I'm drowning

Completely immersed

like second skin

unrehearsed

love blooms

Feelings fragile

yet tenacious

lithe and agile

ivy-like

Breathless desire

blazes furiously

like wildfire

out of control

All encompassing embrace

held in eternity

I see your face

and am home
