He

He

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

He tears into my heart

with relentles fury

seeking a place to bruise

He intimidates me

no matter how I try

it seems I'll always lose

His sweet demeanor and

sparkling eyes to

through the best defense

Just one glance

a mortal blow

makes my body tense

My soul needs to fre

the memories of him

along with all the pain

When this comes to pass

I'll cry tears of joy

that will fall like gentle rain

love the depiction, but it ends in the end a little abrupt,
