The Seeing BlindA Poem by Melissa KeseadMy eyes have fluttered open no longer one of the seeing blind I'm running for the steep hill leaving reason far behind
My heart is beating faster not hindered by the pain of questions gone unanswered my tears they fall like rain
All my life I'm searching seeking for what's true looking for the answers I've found them all in you
My ears are free from deafness I finally hear the song of angels long forgotten they've sung it for so long
My eyes have fluttered open the mist before them cleared I'm reaching for the unknown and everything I've feared
All my life I'm searching seeking for what's true looking for the answers I've found them all in you
