Never GoodbyeA Poem by Melissa KeseadThe cabins are nestled in the trees like mother hens You glimpse a seagull on a breeze a solo flight The water ripples silently endlessly in motion The sand dunes hold their silent plea waiting for commotion Squirrels chatter in the eve birds answer The sun and it's beauty turn to leave it sinks into the twilight Fires are now kindled and old songs are sung Til nighttime has dwindled and up sneaks the sun The waves crash to the shore and lull you to sleep You yawn and say goodnight once more but never goodbye
