Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by Melissa Kesead

Her beauty assaulted him

and set the butterflies free

free to flutter within his heart

'til eternity

His tenderness touched her

and brought tears to her eyes

eyes that brimmed with warmth and love

no disguise

Their emotions mingled

and their bodies became one

one full of both their love

a new life has begun

Lovely work. I love how openly it speaks about love and two people coming together. Great job, I absolutely love it.
