Yoga

A Poem by MelissaBlack
"

Yoga and Meditation bring out the best in me

"

Sunlight shining on closed eyes, intruding with its brightness upon the blinds of eyelashes

half closed, half blinded, half looking down, the other way.

The sweet sound of my own Breath,

Strong, relentless, harnessing

What it craves, what moves it and dances with it within Me.

The loving demand of a long stretch,

Pain and discomfort and Knowing Myself.

Releasing in the cells what my Mind aches for the world to know,

for Me to know.

Truth, in all of Its colors and shades and shapes and dimensions;

In all of Its outpourings and vibrations and manifestations.

It doesn't hide. It knows, and it Roars.

And I let it.

I can relate to the vibrations and awaking of the self. While I was never a fan of Yoga, I find these feelings whle doing Tai-Chi.

A wonderful poem of freedom and the souls own life pulse.

Thanks for sharing,

Beautiful :) I do naked yoga every morning :) it is fabulous.
In the summer, I think it helps me photosynthesize. :)
