Riddles

Riddles

A Poem by MelissaAndres
"

A light-hearted poem explaining an eclipse.

"

Riddle me this
And ask me that.
How is a fiddle
Played by a cat?

How does a cow
jump over the moon?
How does it make
young lovers swoon?

Astronomers tell us
'Bout the eclipse
Caused by planets
Stars and ships.

Science isn't always right
So don't believe it's real
That man in the moon above
Just forgot to pay his bill!

I guess that's more less what happened back in the dark ages, when they sacrificed virgins to bring the moon back. Nowadays, I sacrifice a pizza when the moon goes missing. Brings it back every time, too! You should "promote" some of these cool poems to get them read more.

Thank you, wordman! I am sure they are around somewhere! :)
Nicely done Melissa. I always wondered as a child how the big bad wolf and the little pigs not only spoke, but spoke in perfect English, that was a bit of luck, wasn't it :)
