I wanted you and you wanted something else. I cared for you. You proceeded with caution as if I held a warning sign over me. You hurt me because of your own hurting.

You brought me light
While you were hurting.
You brought me happiness.
You kept questioning.
She betrayed you.
You shattered me.
I cared for you but
You didnt choose me.
Worthless tears upon my face.
You are the reason.
I saw everything;
I saw you.
You only saw caution.
Was I a danger?
I felt everything;
I felt you.
You guarded yourself.
I lost myself.
You're rebuilding yourself.
You are who I want but
You didn't want me.
I yelled out for you.
You never heard me.
I was warned,
I didn't listen.
My chest clenches in pain, I cried out for you.
Our memories on repeat.
I'm taunted.
It's breaking me.
You're fine.
You let me believe you.
You let me fall deeper.
I believed every word.
How dumb was I to think you'd actually like someone like me.
You felt nothing.
I didn't know.
But you did.
Sleepless nights.
Dark eyes that weap.
You sleep fine.
Eyes so precious.
You hurt me.
My first kiss.
How clever are you.
I never knew.
You made me feel as If I meant nothing to you.
I hope you're relieved.
You're the reason why I pray.
I pray over you.
I pray for me.
I pray for us.
I pray for truth.
