helpless romanticA Poem by Crimson Rosebroken fantasies of a helpless romantic.I watch all these enchanting love stories A hopeless romantic at its best So I try it out where the love is real Only to find that love’s a pest To many things you got to do right Only to find out that you were wrong My heart and mind all intertwined Into one big gooey mess And now I watch these stories Of empty hopes and glory Feeling an empty throb within my breast But what am I to do When I know this love aint true Except cry for something that isn’t real A helpless romantic without a clue © 2010 Crimson RoseAuthor's Note
