Seduction of Decadence's Black Rose

Seduction of Decadence's Black Rose

A Poem by C.J. Ravenheart
"

meh

"
If only decadence,
in all of her dark seductions,
would sweep me off my feet and take me away,
to that lonesome castle beneath the shore.

Where she would treat me,
with love and compassion until,
the dirge, that is playing within this broken heart of mine,
will drown itself, within her covers.

I don't care what happens to me,
in that decadent and decaying castle,
that lies beneath, the hidden moonlit shore.

And Darkness, would be my friend,
and Decadence, my lover, while I,
lay crying in agony,
for my life to end, but every time,
I wish to die, I return, and suffer the same torment,
in an infinite loop, like Ouroboros itself.

And underneath the moon's hidden gaze,
I will cry, and cry again, until I am free from the wretched curse.
I wish I could die, but, I am unable to...because of the pain and suffering,
that comes, like a wellspring rising up through the ground, from being the victim of,
the seductions of a black rose...
