Enough LoveA Poem by Mélania WoolfYour thoughts, my cage Your grin, my witness Your strength of weakness And dreams of deceases Just please Hush Enough speaking About love And us… The left of us. Enough wasted sighs Stars are vanishing The sky is mourning Over your burnt out chances And your forgotten promises When you put away your papers And looked me in the eyes You said light will guide us And sorrow will fade Yet I’m still here The same position For How long am I Going to believe? Please... My words are pathetic Swallowed by the grounds I’ll save what’s left of me Wake up from this strain I’m far gone now I’m good as dead In your freezing arms And in your inhuman bed Enough waiting! If it doesn’t matter to you (I don’t know what else does) If it’s never that simple (Tell me what was so) See I’m all set now Ready to meet myself And remember what I was Before you inhabited me And shook my skin I’m crossing your red lines Beyond this gloomy day. Mute your evil look I loved you (I did) But not quite enough Not to my death Let me save the story Craft an eager breath And seek my new way …
