///RAIN///

///RAIN///

A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks

I just love the sound of the rain
as it kisses on my window pane.

I love the patterns that it makes
as it decides on which path it takes.

The puddles outside, they reflect
on the next raindrop they can expect,
But, I can't always see the storms
and trouble can come in many forms.

Still, I can't help but love the rain
as it kisses on my window pane.

In the next to last line love seems to be disconnected. A small change might smooth it out. I would consider placing but before love or changing love to loving.
