A Moments' ChangeA Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt ShanksDealing with a teenager who has been diagnosed as bipolar.Restless and bored you pace the floor chewing your fingers away. The ring of the phone, you are transformed today is a good day. You laugh and you joke. You talk to your friends. It seems you're in a good mood. You ask for a ride which I cannot provide, then here comes the attitude. I understand some, (you want to have fun), but your fits are just out of control I am tired of your wars. You destroy walls and doors and guess who must pay the toll.
