![]() Self Prayer 8A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks![]() This poem has two eight line stanzas with eight syllables in each line.![]() I pledge alligiance to myself to always try to be myself. Not what someone thinks I should be and not what others want to see. I vow to respect all others All are my sisters and brothers, so I will try to understand and if they need me lend a hand.
I won't try to lead them astray for they will go their path their way. I can try to open their eyes but not because I am more wise. Seeing things from another view can sometimes show someone the new. Paths can go in all direction in the end it's All perfection.
