White BeautyA Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt ShanksWhite beauty you act so peculiar for a cat. Why do you lie all spread out like that? With your legs stretched out as far as you can, You look like you could take off like superman.
Legs to the front and legs to the back, Until something walks by for you to attack. You either are batting the dog in the nose, Or pouncing right on your people’s toes.
I've never seen a cat do that before. All spread out flat on the floor. But what really amazes me about you, Is that you taught the dog to do it too.
