Stranger Behavior

Stranger Behavior

A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks
"

Not about me. Just writing!

"

Lights flashing

Souls colliding

Familiar stranger

Words confiding

Eyes connecting

Feelings calling

Trust established

Barriers falling

Friends disapproving

Love at first sight

They don’t understand

Your behavior tonight

I love this..I love the first 9 lines because you use only 2 words in each line to describe something and you do it very well...the last 3 lines caught me off I guess b/c i was expecting the whole poem to be that way..but that doesnt take away from the whole poem..I love that it rhymed..lol you know I love the rhyming part of your poems..but it flowed and it wasnt forced..I really like the first couple of opening lines..you caught my attention and made me wanna read on...thanks for asking me to read this..I enjoyed the read...

I have been writing since I knew how. Before that I would just draw pictures to tell a story. My true passion is poetic lyrics. That is mostly what I am inspired to write. I have been dabbling in othe.. more..
