Pieces of you

Pieces of you

A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks

I see pieces of me

in everything I see.

If what I see is true,

then I'm pieces of you.

When you look around,

you are what you've found.

You create the new

with everything you do.

When the puzzle is complete,

it's you yourself you'll meet.

But we will be there too.

We're all pieces of you.

Many jigsaw puzzles are fully interlocking and their adjacent pieces are connected so tightly, that what ever you do to one piece, the other is effected.

Your poem encapsulates the relationship bonds between friends and family; an enlightening and poignant write.

Superb!
