It's All GoodA Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt ShanksWritten a long time ago.
You don't have to prove somebody wrong
To realize you're right. If you want to prove you're strong, You don't have to fight. You don't have to prove that it's not black, to recognize it's white. And you don't have to force it on, to see if it's too tight. It's All good, and we're Allright. (4Xs) The grass ain't always greener On the other side. Sometimes the things we feel the most Are the things we try to hide. Sometimes the things we meant to say Aren't the things that we implied, And we don't enjoy to the full extent Everything that we have tried. It's All good, and we're Allright. (4Xs) There's Allways someone guiding you To help you find your way. The sun is always shining To get you through your day. When you give someone advice Please hear the words you say, And when you feel your sacrifice You can Allways pray... It's All good, and we're Allright.
