Tragedy Of The Day

Tragedy Of The Day

A Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt Shanks

How can I lead anyone
When I am so very lost?
How can I enjoy the fun
When all the waves have me tossed?
How can I steer the right way
When the wheel seems stuck in place;
The tragedy of the day
Now headed straight for my face.

I don't think you can unless you get the wheel loosened. I enjoyed your rhyme. I hope you can break out of the funk and feel empowered.
