lonely soulA Poem by Melanie Jane Boicourt ShanksLonely Soul A Poem by Mejasha Love
They bring me down to a table once or twice a day. I know it's time when I hear the bell ring. Other than that I'm here on display. But I sure don't feel like a king. It is lonely up here in this cabinet alone with only myself and a bowl. I bang my head on the bars and groan. Poor me and my jungle soul.
