Introducing; 

The Beast Within. 

I fed her well. 

She craved again. 

I starved her once. 

She told her friends. 

They danced around 

the hidden bends 

behind my thoughts  

of daily living. 

Always creeping, 

never giving 

the medicine 

that could heal, 

or even mask 

the way I feel. 

So now I’ll tame 

them all to be 

expressions of 

the parts of me 

that emanate 

creativity, 

and acquiesce 

in humanity.
