Joyful Sacrifice

Joyful Sacrifice

A Poem by Magnolia
"

One of my favourites. Open for interpretation.

"

Faithful dreams with real complexities
And confusion expanding it’s territory
I watch the rooms burn with cold
As the lights sliped to dark, and created something bold

The origin was a simple dream
But not all dreams are what they seem
To hold onto my only hope
Was a task that would cost everything I wrote

All I wanted was what filled the world
And to transfer this to a little gurl
This little gurl would have it all
And to the world they called it pain

Yes, it’s pain. So much pain.
To them it was all in vain.
She wanted it don’t you see?
She’s happy that her dream came to be.

Yes, it’s pain. So much pain.
All this pain. So, much pain.
The lived in pain. Now no more pain.
Yes, it’s pain. So, much pain.
Yes, pain. Pain. Pain. Pain.
