Insecure Secrets

A Poem by Magnolia
"

Open for interpretation.

"

Flashing lights and abstract scenes,
That play in my mind forever more.
And though the torment rides high,
It will never catch on and stay hold.

These weary days knock me out.
An unconsciouseness of burning torment
Burns the lies that made me whole.
So my ashes, too, burn with the sun.

The forgetful nature that resides in generations
Has ceases to reside with a broken heart.
Now this heart remembers him still
And holds the pain that no other was left with.

Their small young hearts have no chance with it.
The forgetfulness hides that away.
So the pain comes to me for the beating
As my doubts are slowly receding.

I take the blame. All the blame.
The blame of a thousand and one.
For if it was with them, they’de be no more.
And it’s only a matter of time before it’s likewise

I really like this piece
I love how you use your words.

"Flashing lights and abstract scenes,
That play in my mind forever more"

Getting everyones attention with the first couple of lines.
Brilliant.
