Loneliness

Loneliness

A Poem by Magnolia
"

We had to write a decriptive poem for English, I chose loneliness.

"

Loneliness is yet another way of life. To some, it’s all they’ve ever known and have learned to love. And to the many, they’ve yet to put the feeling to use.
But loneliness is an inimitable knowledge. Knowledge of yourself that you can’t comprehend. It comes from the darkest corners of the heart and mind. A rare place to explore.
It’s when depression and peace collide, creating something more than just a melancholy feeling. It’s the feeling of solitude. The knowing that life has reversed its pleasures to something negative.
Loneliness is often watching your love vanish, leaving you with tears in your eyes, and creating the promise that you’ll never love again.
It’s walking down the street along with the tens of thousands of people in the world, but none pay attention to you. You, the one that seems most important in this world, the one who knows best, right? They go on with their daily lives, giving you the consequence you deserve.
When All that you know and loved has gone to waste, when the time of darkness has reached it’s full potential, then loneliness is surely with you. It does not leave on command, it sometimes doesn’t leave at all. But leaves when it’s ready, and it leaves when you’re not.
For the world has experienced it, and it’s nothing good at all. But never forget those who live it. Because to them… it’s all they know. And remember, it’s all they’ve learned to love…

Wow. 13? You have amazing talent.
I love this. As I was reading it, it was almost as if I could feel the loneliness slowly taking over me. I love it when that happens to me when I'm reading. Great job, really. This was cool.

I think it's totally wicked that you're only 13 and yet you still know how to use your writting talent. I don't think I even realized that you don't have to rhyme everything for it to be poetry until I was 14. Lol.
But I really like this. Do induldge me..What grade did you get on your paper?
