It's inspired by real life experience and I really 'FEEL' it.
Whenever I walk upon the trail, And I slowly move along in the woods, It feels strangely beautiful, Being alone and not yet so.
Whenever the cool breeze flows, The trees make a sound that seeps into the heart. It feels that there is someone- Someone I fail to see.
Whenever I walk upon the dry oak leaves, The rustles and crunches, Make me even more aware of my companions, That are all around, but hidden.
Whenever I sit on a mossy rock, And gently close my eyes, I hear them talking- to me Unburdening me of my stress, anger and sorrow.
Whenever I take a deep breath, And take within me different scents, Which combines to form the fragrance of the forest. I forget myself and the world.
Whenever this happens, I let go of each thought and emotion, And just hold on to the charm the forest creates. I see 'them' all even with my eyes closed. My companions- the trees, the wind and the trail-
And at last I see the spirit of the forest, Which etches in my heart, With its own unique style, An experience so different and so wonderful.
Glorious and beautiful. I have always felt like this and felt a little different because none of my family or friends talked about feeling that way so I thought it was a little odd. But you have opened my eyes that those who can truly feel the forest can feel like this. I absolutely love this poem and I'm fighting not to cry. This is just so beautifully written.
Do your best! :)
A spectacular piece written on the "divinity" of nature,I feel your imprints of experiences really takes us all with the journey you pictured through your work, great will be the those who would be your companion in getting the lovely impulses . Well drafted, keep going.
You have captured the beauty of nature and I am compelled by the simplicity, the serenity your words emit. I feel as though I am with you, walking that same path, breathing in that wind, and sinking into the environment. This poem makes me feel comforted by our Great Mother Earth, wrapped in the design by our Father.
This poem replenishes and nurtures my love and respect for nature. It is doused with inspiration and primal emotions that we as humans are often familiar with. Lol, I actually reread this with some Native American Music and calmness has overwhelmed me.
