Peace Is All Around You

This poem is for anyone that is very busy with tasks of life or anyone who is under the stress of worldly problems.

"Where can one find peace?",

have you ever wondered?

In this busy life of ours that has

     our calm and patience plunder'd.

To obtain true peace,

you need not go far.

Just relax, give a deep breath and

enjoy an ardent star.

Find solace in little things like 

the opening of a bud,

Or the little frogs that play so

joyfully in the mud.

Enjoy the lovely morning,

enjoy the bright noon,

Enjoy the setting sun and

enjoy the silver moon.

You may go out into the nearby woods

whenever you are free,

Find yourself a cosy place or

just sit beneath a tree.

Gently close your eyes and 

try to feel the cool air,

And for the moment leave aside your problems

as if you have ceased to care.

Noticing is the key-You have to notice all 

the good things that happen around you,

Then you will surely know, my busy friend, that

Peace is really all around you!

I wrote this some time ago when I too got obsessed with so much work that my heart started to feel burdened. Writing this poem really helped.
