Have You Ever Noticed

Observing Nature!

After the dark night always comes a dawn,

And, this our uneventful life has to go on and on.

But have you ever noticed the beauty that is all around you,

The joys of life that always surround you?

Have you ever noticed the rise of the golden sun,

And its golden rays that make the darkness run?

Have you ever noticed the moonlight that seems to dance,

Or the twinkling stars -- I wonder if you've given them a glance?

Have you ever noticed the dew upon the grass in the meadows,

Or the slim black cat that lies obscured in the shadows?

Have you ever noticed the silver clouds that lazily float,

Or the little lovely bird that has a red band upon its throat?

Have you ever noticed the stillness of a forest at night,

Or the ardent fireflies that glow very bright?

Have you ever noticed the lake upon the mountains,

Or the lovely brooks and waterfalls or in the park the fountains?

Have you ever noticed the hawk that soars so high,

Or the silly lover that always gives a sigh?

Notice if you have not and also notice if you have,

Are not all these beautiful- lovely though not so rare.
