I haven't said this enough
So I'll say it again
Thank you for being there for me
Thanks for being a friend

Since the day my eyes first opened
You've stood there like a rock
Grounding me when I'm flying
Calming me when I'm in shock

You're so understanding
It's hard to believe it's true
There's no one who gets me
Better than the way you do

From all my tantrums and demands
To my tears at midnight on the floor
From all my smiles and giggles
To hugging you at the door

You've put up with everything
And to have you, I'm glad
I never can say this enough
But I love you, mom and dad.
