Through Your Eyes

Through Your Eyes

A Poem by Mehameha
"

Extrospective View

"
This simply can't be. Is that what you see? It's blinding
The colors are strange. Your world rearranged, unwinding
From your point of view, I see you're no shrew
Is that what you see when you look at me
Defining

I borrowed your sight, and try as I might, I'm failing
It's like a new world, Flag briskly unfurled, unveiling
So clear with your eyes, the horrible lies,
That's how I appear? Heart hit with my spear?
Impaling

trying to imagine how others see us, from their perspective...gives us a hint into who we are...and we might realize that our behavior definitely needs to be improved.
