The Landing

The Landing

A Poem by Mehameha
"

Lyrics to Song

"

He Looked Up

He Looked Down

Then He Spun Himself Around

He Felt High

He Felt Low

Wasn't Sure Which Way To Go

Confusing State

But He Was There

On The Landing Of The Stair

Was He Going Up Or Down?

Wearing Smiles Or Just A Frown?

Sometimes Dreams Hold Magic Power

Giving Hope With Every Hour

She Was Up

She Was Down

She Spun Slowly All Around

She Felt High

She Felt Low

Always Moving With The Flow

Conflicted State

But She Was There

On The Landing Of The Stair

Was She Going Up Or Down?

Wearing Smiles Or Just A Frown?

Sometimes Dreams Hold Magic Power

Giving Hope With Every Hour

They Walked Up

Or Was It Down?

Projecting Smiles, Erasing Frowns

They Felt High

They Felt Low

Holding Hands They Stole The Show

It Didn't Matter Much To Them

It Didn't  Matter Where They've Been

Livin' Their Dreams With Magic Power

Sharing Love Each Passing Hour

I love this poem for various reasons but one I would like to make a note of a message here, that grabbed my attention. As to how a partnership between a wife and husband is supposed to be. Erasing the thin but strong line of ego and complimenting each other, there by fulfilling the value of their togetherness. Though unfortunate things do happen, ultimately one has to endeavor to leave no stone unturned to keep a relationship.

Life take us to many places. The above lines are true. When two make the journey. Both will know peace and joy. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
