Reflective Introspective, Forgiving, Positive

When we rise at dawn's first light

We gaze upon a wondrous sight

We are friends our whole lives through

And with each day begin anew

 

We laugh, we cry, we share a smile

Revealing truths in paralleled style

 

Sometimes we even disagree

Uncomfortable with what we see

But we look again and we forgive

For with ourselves we'll always live

We do tend to complicate and let pride and ego cloud our ability to think clearly. Accepting others as they are begins with accepting and acknowledging we our selves are flawed, how can than we expect another to be perfect, impossible. Thank you for your review.

I like this poem, it doesn't ramble it tells a story, keeps it simple and makes you think.

Wrote on plane.Watching sun rise from above clouds. reminded me how small we really are and the day comes to provide another chance to do things better. I am not perfect. I should not be shocked so much by others imperfections.
