Lost Cause

Lost Cause

A Poem by Meg

Poor little girl,
you've lost you cause.
Lost your reason,
to keep going on.
You flew so high,
but now your feet won't touch the ground.
The lies you're spinning,
keep turning round and round.
And aren't you tired,
of being the best?
I bet it'd be so much easier,
to put your anger rest.
But you don't care that you're in danger,
of becoming a stranger.
All you can feel are the sickening pieces,
of your broken heart.
So go ahead.
Give up and give in.
We both know love is a game,
that you'll never win.
