Before I get started,
and fall in too deep,
I just wanted to say,
that this poem isn't for you.
It's for the girls that you hurt,
the hearts that you broke,
and the tears that kept streaming,
down all those forgotten faces.
It's for the dreams that you ripped,
right out of our hands.
For the wishes that were granted,
only to have you run away.
It's for the times you said forever,
when you really meant never.
For the twelve months you strung me along,
turning my fragile feelings round and round.
It belongs to the countless victims,
of the tangled web you weave.
To the unfortunate women,
who in the future you will surely deceive.
For the innocent females,
who look you straight in the eye.
The ones who are to daft to see,
the lies they behold.
For the girls you held onto,
in your loving embrace.
And for the ones like myself,
who never felt it at all.
It's for the moments that we gave you,
and the memories that we shared.
The ones that never mattered to you,
but are forever engraved in our heads.
It's for the first time you uttered,
those three magical words.
When our hearts skipped a beat,
but you only stared blankly on.
For when we finally found out,
that you had replaced us and moved on.
We invested all hope into your simple words:
"Lets just be friends."
It's for the moment we looked past the facade,
and saw what you truly are.
A liar and a cheat,
who never really cared at all.
It belongs to the women,
who can't seem to move on.
The ones who are so lost in love,
that they are scared to emerge.
This poem is for every girl,
that you ever betrayed.
It's a reminder that you aren't worth it,
and that we are never truly alone.
