Through Death

Through Death

A Poem by MJ Wilkinson

Traversing through

shadows of death

winds freeze me.

prattling bones.

such a biting freeze.

The blade shaking

as a terrific

sadness comes rushing forth.

an ocean of blood.

tears of joy flood my eyes.

What?

immune to pain such as this?

peering around the graveyard

that life has become.

glittering is

the sad moon

Sweet salvation.

Hopes of ending life

overwhelming.

cold death.

so many thoughts once

contemplating

death.

free of these childish

ambitions.

Rain falling

heavily.

buried is

dispair.

I may be

finally at peace.

Wow, that was amazing. :D I absolutely love the flow of it; the tone just went hand-in-hand with the eerie words you used. I love everything about this poem!

Excellent job! I'm gonna favorite this for safe keeping. ^^
