Ice Queen

Ice Queen

A Poem by MJ Wilkinson

Why is your heart so cold?

Your friendship to me
Proven false.

Your love
My one hate.

Your re-birth .
My suicide.

How is it your heart is frozen?

Your jealousy is
My compassion.

Your hatred of the world
Now my own.

Queen of apathy
Duchess of evil animosity

I became your apprentice.

Curse that icy throne

My heart freezes

Blood turns cold

Hateful
Loathing
Fill me.

The icyness that fills your heart
Attacks my warmth.
The switch has begun.

Thawing.

Freezing.

Both hearts overwhelmed

Dark lies.
Hateful wants.

All Hail The New Ice Queen!

My rein has begun.
All be damned of that dead soul
That once held such compassion
May this heart not thaw.

Behold.

The new

Ice Queen.
 Ice
