Lost Reflection

This one is for me whom I do hate.

I look in the mirror but I don´t see who I´m looking at..

I see a stranger.

No longer in tune.

A broken strange, with that same running make-up, those eye that have lost light,

 

Look back ıt me.

Through that mirror, and I don´t know who she is.

Oh and how I want to know her, yet she doesn´t seem at all to be listening.

Music in one ear, book in hand.

Who is this stranger staring back at me ?

Yet not hearing me screaming at her..

Unflinching and Unchanging.

And All I can do is look at the stranger through the mirrorand ask myself,

 

Where have I gone ?

it is true, you do have poems that reflect mine and other people too, know why? coz we all feel the same pain one way or another. and it fuels us, drives us to write each and every heart ache, failure, every hardship we've endured. and as we write, we carry on.. living to write and feel for another day..
