Recipe for Love (or How to Create a Soulmate)A Poem by MeggyA recipe to create love, by way of friendship.
*Disclaimer: This recipe, if not followed correctly can easily turn into a recipe for disaster, a ruined friendship, world war three, and possibly the apocalypse. Please follow all instructions carefully and at your own risk.
Ingredients: One Male (Divorced and Lonely is my preferred brand) One Female (Virgin! works best) 1 Tsp. Physical Chemistry 6 Seeds of Trust A Spoonful of Secrets Shared 5 Splashes Alcohol 1 Clove of Friendship 1 Kiss A Dash of Raging Hormones A Pinch of Rejection (By a Third-Party only!) Instructions: Place your female, and your male together in a bowl. The bowl should be dark, filled with pounding music and the grinding of bodies. They meet and greet, muffled introductions by a mutual friend. Let sit until something has begun to brew. They should meet again, converse quietly, eyes for each other only. Chemistry crackles, sizzles between them, tangible, hot to the touch. Bad first impressions thaw, melting away their outer layers. The promise of a new beginning blossoms as you stir. After they have set, fold in a few late night phone calls. Add a sprinkling of secrets shared. Not too little, nor too much. Two hearts, beaten together, melting into one. Add seeds of trust, and the clove of friendship. They begin a cautious dance, to whisk away depression. Fold together until the lumps of rejection begin to disappear. Add a splash (or 5) of alcohol. The whole thing boils with a steamy froth of lust. One kiss, where lips meet is the icing on our cake. One kiss, which leads to another, which leads to more than one kiss. Decisions bubble up, a dash of raging hormones spills over the top. It will look like a steamy hot mess. But keep stirring! Fold together, until they can no longer be seperated. Now you have two true soulmates, two hearts melted into one, which makes one whole person... © 2011 MeggyAuthor's Note
