Heart Of Ice

Heart Of Ice

A Poem by George Chiarovano

Heart Of Ice
Heart of Ice, Soul of Coal
Years of insults takes its toll
Open Flesh, Corrupted Mind
To the outside world, they seem fine
Watery Eyes, Rosy Face
Everyone thinks they’re a disgrace.
Always Alone, Complete Isolation,
Forever stuck in their own damnation.
Shotgun Shell, Wooden Floor.
Nothing worries them anymore.

it is good but if you put world before outside it would sound better and flow better. like "to the world outside they seem find." besides that it is good.,yours truly a mad lord

This poem reaches out to me. And most likely to a lot of people. Seen others go through it all is hard, but what is harder is their inner struggle. Thank you for sharing, got my heart wrenching a little.
