MARCH 9 2017 9:17 amA Poem by MeganIn the midst of a panic attack, I wrote this.MARCH 9 2017 9:17 am My lungs have been robbed of oxygen My heart is in a steel cage It thumps and stutters through each
shallow breath And a familiar pressure builds behind my eyes. The tightness in my chest becomes
painful And the butterflies in my stomach
turn to stone. I pull my hair back as tight as I
can And pretend I have some semblance of
control I try But the stone butterflies are still
fluttering their wings And I think I may cry Again © 2017 MeganFeatured Review
