A Little Less Romance

A Little Less Romance

A Story by Megan N. Feltner

I Romanticized you too much
To the point that love was not lust
I lost myself in you
And you acted like you had no clue
You know what you've done to me
But you were gone way too effortlessly
And The day I let you go
I felt that you should know
That I loved you unconditionally
But you were so fast to dismiss me
I never wanted to see you again
And you acted like you wanted to be friends
You claimed that you were hurt too
But if that's true why did she come out of the blue
After three and a half years
There's no more tears
You're just a line in a poem
And I'm quite fine alone.

Hey Megan, I guess we all can relate to this one. We all have been through this once in our lives. I have. And that one experience changed my life for good. Trust me, when you rise above this, that is when the real journey begins.

Very well said! You're better off without anyone who is going to play games. :)
