Song poem

Song poem

A Poem by Megan Klein

When all the birds are singing in the sky,

Now that spring is in the air,

I roll out of bed in the morning,

throw on what I want and go,

Yesterday’s history,

tomorrow’s a mystery,

Be a true heart not a follower,

Before I realize existing and living are not the same,

Pain is only relevant if it still hurts,

Your mind is my new best friend,

I’m looking right at the other half of me,

Although above the planet on a wing and a prayer,

God made another one of me, to love you better than I ever will.
