Who killed my bestfriend?

Who killed my bestfriend?

A Story by megan
"

Just some words about a memory of a friend.

"
Her hair used to be much lighter, like her personality. A light tinge of fiery red with smooth porcelain skin. Not anymore. As I looked at her from across the room the fiery tinge was gone her hair was dull and lank. Her smooth porcelain face was now a gathering of off-white flakes of skin. The twinkle she once had in her eyes had been shut off. Who robbed her of these things? Maybe they were never actually there to begin with. The change to her appearance was not the only difference. Everything. Everything about her had changed. No one bothered with her now. She was cruel. She wasn't always like this though. At least not as visibly on the surface as she is now. Her eyes used to be emerald jewels now they were faint pools of bitterness. It appears that upon getting to know someone truly, the loss of their inner beauty can affect your views of their outer beauty. Her voice was once soft and supple but could now turn your heart to stone. Her words would pierce you and the smirk that followed sent a shiver down your spine. She had once lit up the room now people avoided appearing to notice her entering. The first time she started to act harshly we merely passed the blame to someone else assuming she was merely having a bad day however this was a regrettable mistake. She found new companions throughout her personality change. They were more alike to her that's any of us ever were. They had the ability to whisper their poison and shoot it at you with a smirk in seconds. Their looks could kill. We all still wondered who done this? Who hurt her? Who blew out my friends flame? The answer? She did.

Wow, I love this! The end to me was such a good twist, one I felt like an idiot for not getting beforehand! I love the rhetorical questions you ask at the end, they are full of emotion, impact and power. I love the amount of detail you went in as well, it really spoke to me and got me engaged right at the start. Great job- well done!

This is awesome! When I first read the title I thought it meant that someone had killed her not metaphorically. Great Work!!
