Timing

Timing

A Poem by Megan Kirby

Timing speaks for itself,
& ours was never quite right for us,
So we fell to the wayside again.

Our love fell to the floor,
Our hearts split into,
A million pieces as they fell away.
Now there's nothing that we can do.

Just grin and bare it as they say...
But then what do you do when there's nothing left to say?
Where do you turn when you've left,
But you can't make it all the way, alone?

I always turned to you...
But our timing wasn't right.
Now there's nothing for us to do.

Except everyday,
I miss you.
